We have some exciting news.... This months Business Networking Lunch is going to be packing extra CRUNCH!!!!
Our networking lunches give you the opportunity to meet with business people from a wide variety of backgrounds, some well established and from large organisations and others who are small new start businesses or just people looking to make the leap to self-employment. Whatever your business background we know you’ll get something out of our superb networking lunch, which effectively builds business contacts and confidence in a friendly and informal, yet structured, environment.
Never networked before?
Well this is the perfect time and place to start, please be sure to let us know if you’re a ‘networking fresher’ and we’ll make extra sure you’re made very welcome, We’re also happy to discuss how best to achieve results through networking and will ensure you’re introduced to relevant people at the meeting too.
Let me introduce the the CRUNCH in our lunch...
With all the economic doom and gloom about at the moment many businesses are cutting back; however, never being the sorts to follow the pack, we at the Grid would like to offer you more.
We always look at ways to better help and support our members and have come up with an idea for our business networking lunches that we feel will serve your needs even better.
First of all we are going to extend the meetings a little and would like to invite you to attend from 12.00, when the first half hour will be taken up with informal networking whilst you help yourself to refreshments.
The formal part of the meeting will start, as previously, at 12.30 with introductions, at 13.00 our legendary lunch will be served and we will break down into smaller groups where we will look to ‘Crunch’ business issues together, trying to help members overcome any barriers to success they may be facing. We will do this by asking all attendees to write down a problem, issue or concern (ideally before they arrive), these will then be put into a hat and one will be drawn out and discussed by the group, hopefully giving some valuable tips to aid success – tips that we can all learn from. The group sizes may vary from time to time but we will always try to ensure that there are a good range of people with different skills in each group. Issues could be very general or very specific (i.e .relating to time management, cash flow, producing a flyer etc.) and you can put your name to them or can remain totally anonymous, equally you don’t have to put anything in the hat, you can just learn from and help with the challenges of others.
At 13.30 we will then have time to recharge our glasses and plates and will end the meeting with informal networking – whilst the meeting is scheduled to end at 14.00 you know you’re never chased out of the GRID*, so feel welcome to stay for as long as is useful.
Equally if you have any further ideas of how we can serve your needs better with our Business Networking Lunches, or any aspects of GRID* @ CBC please let us know. We are after all ‘Your GRID*’ and all we do is based on the fact that ‘together we are stronger’.
For further details and to book your place, please call us on 01274 732 746.
We hope to see you on the 12th.
